OMNIBASIC is essentially self documenting
OmniBasic is a language that uses 'English' syntax to construct the program. The program is quite readable in this format and allows a programmer that has been away from an application for six months or for a programmer that is taking over support of an existing application to pick up the 'Big Picture' of the program and see the details in the lines of the program.
As in any program it is possible for a programmer to create obscure coding but with OmniBasic there aren't any road blocks to creating understandable variable names, labels or symbols since there are 28 characters available for these items. Also large variable names do not add any size to the executable file.
