Efficient and stable code generation
OmniBasic is a highly leveraged programming language in that some of the programming statements allow you to do data or program manipulation that would normally require several lines of C or other languages. This built in efficiency reduces the code requirement which makes for smaller programs. The fewer lines of code required will result in a higher degree of stability due to the lower opportunity for errors to enter the program. Basic languages in general are more efficient from a writing standpoint because of the 'English' like syntax. A programmer programming in Basic can follow the flow of the code more quickly because the language is more intuitive.
OmniBasic takes this feature and adds the ability to create executable programs that run as fast or faster than comparable C or even assembler programs. The OmniBasic compiler is unique in its ability to create high speed and stable code in either the Windows or Unix-based environments.
OmniBasic would be a very impressive product if it were only available for one environment or the other; the fact that it will generate executable code for both environments from the same source code puts OmniBasic far ahead of any competition.
